Four more persons who were involved in the planting of a car bomb at the car park inside the premises of the Raj Bhavan on September 18 were booked under the National Security Act (NSA) by the District Magistrate, Imphal today.
It may be recalled that the police had produced nine suspects in the Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st class on October 3, out of which four were released on bail, four remanded in police custody for 15 days and one booked under NSA.
The four who were booked under NSA are Kh Jiten alias Tyson alias Taton alias Brojen (35) s/o Kh Shamu of Nongdren Mayai Leikai, Ch Laingam alias Budhi (36) s/o (L) Ch Doren Singh of Sagolband Tera, Kh Naba Singh (54) s/o (L) Kh Madhu Singh of Nongmeibung and RK Ingocha Singh (41) s/o (L) Netrajit Singh of Singjamei Bheigabati Leikai.
The police have taken the five persons booked under NSA in judicial remand for 15 days.
The person who was booked under NSA on October 3 is identified as S Sanayaima (44) s/o (L) Nitya Singh of Salam Mayai Leikai.
All the five persons who are booked under NSA were picked up by the Imphal West police during the investigation into the case on September 25 .
