Final hearing for recruitment examination of Primary teachers

A committee constituted by the left out BEd/DIET qualified candidates of the recruitment examination of Primary teachers of SSA held in 2012 has pulled up its socks to appear in the final hearing of the case pending at the Imphal Bench of Gauhati High Court.
The committee comprising of 72 unselected candidates moved the Court complaining irregularities in the recruitment process.
Speaking to reporters at Manipur Press Club today, finance secretary of the commitee, Maibam Dizen said, an interim order was passed by the Court on March 5 and 6 this year.
He added that many BEd/DIET qualified candidates were left out in the results for Upper Primary and Lower Primary teachers declared on February 29 this year.
On the other hand, he alleged, many unqualified candidates had been appointed violating the rules and regulations laid down by the Government.
