Erabot, Rishang dash Delhi, Ibobi too schedule on Wednesday

Is Chief Minister O Ibobi going to face another revolt within his Congress party? Analysis to various reports from various sources observed some changes in the O Ibobi led SPF government.
While, there were talks of MPCC chief Gaikhangam rejecting post of deputy CM offered by the Chief Minister, O Ibobi in a closed door meeting between the two on November 14 last and Governor's suggestion to make reshuffle to his portfolio to Chief Minister, minister, Y Erabot and veteran Congress leader, MP Rishang Keishing flew to New Delhi.
Erabot and Rishang Keishing dashed to New Delhi today.
Their visit to the national capital is amidst the close hint of taking out home and finance portfolio from the Chief Minister in order to ease the more than three month long agitations against July 23 shooting incident demanding resignation of chief minister, O Ibobi on moral ground.
They are likely to call on with the Union Home Minister, P Chitambaram and other Congress leaders at the Centre.
Erabot flew to the national capital when the matter of giving him the charge of home department came up, source said adding that if he is not offer the home portfolio, the commerce and industries minister is likely to resign from the Ibobi led council of minister.
Chief Minister, Ibobi seems to be in restless state when the two leaders dashed to Delhi.
He is also likely to fly to New Delhi, most likely on November 18 (Wednesday).
Ibobi is to dash after he was asked to come by AICC high commands and leaders, sources said.
State Governor, Gurbachan Jagat last weekend held meeting with the Chief Minister, O Ibobi and discussed on the present situation of the state in the backdrop of closure of schools for the last more than two months.
A highly reliable source said that Governor suggested Chief Minister if he relief the home portfolio and handed over to another minister, the agitations be subside.
After the meeting with Governor, Chief Minister, O Ibobi held a close door meeting with the MPCC president Gaikhangam on November 14.The meeting lasted for about two hours.
In the meeting Chief Minister reportedly offered post of Deputy CM to Gaikhangam which in turn he has to resign from the post of president of MPCC.
Gaikhangam reportedly turned down the proposal.
Chief Minister suggested Gaikhangam to hand over the president of MPCC to MLA E Dwijamani, chairman of the Manipur Pollution Control Board, another highly reliable source said.
Meanwhile, talks on two junior ministers contesting for home portfolio is doingthe round here.
Some MLAs who are expecting to get minister berth if there is reshuffle in the present council of ministers are also in race for the home portfolio.
