RKCS anniversary held

RKCS Museum of Arts and Crafts celebrated the 87th birth anniversary of renowned painter (late) RK chandrajitsana Singh as its Imphal Art Gallery complex today.
The celebration was held with Lok Sabha MP Dr T Meinya Singh leading the gathering in offering tribute at the photo of the painter, popularly called RKCS.
Speaking at the occasion, the MP said the people of Manipur will remain indebted to RKCS for his contribution in the conservation of Manipur's history through his paintings.
Dr Meinya also said that paintings of RKCS are adorning many living-rooms not only in India but also abroad and called upon the upcoming painters to concentrate on their profession.
Among others the celebration was attended by R.MAC chairman RK Gopalsana and Manipur Sahitya Parishad president Prof N Tombi Singh.
