Urging the State Government to look into the matter, the convenor pointed out that one important canal of Lilong area is affected by the Trans-Asian Highway project.
Local clubs of the area have also requested to all concerned earlier to ensure that the canal is not affected by the project, he said while adding that the JAC along with the people residing along Lilong to Waithou will launch agitation if the Government fails to pay heed to their request.
