Officer bearers of NPP Yaiskul Block Committee feted

A felicitation cum oath taking ceremony for the newly appointed office bearers of the National People's Party (NPP), Yaiskul Block Committee was held at the residence of Huidrom Vikramjit Singh at Kongba yesterday.
During the ceremony, the newly 57 office bearers were accorded warm welcome and were presented with NPP scarfs.
President of NPP, Yaiskul Block Committee, Phurailatpam Guneshwor Sharma, working president, Yumlembam Ratikanta, vice presidents, general secretaries and chief advisor of Election Campaign Committee, Nongthombam Yaima as the presidium members.
While speaking on the occasion, H Vikramjit Singh, the intending NPP candidate from Yaiskul Assembly Constituency in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election stated that he joined politics with an aim to work earnestly for the development of Yaiskul AC.
He went on to state that the major responsibilities to emerge victorious in the upcoming assembly election is being handed over to office bearers of NPP Yaiskul Block Committee and the public.
He further assured to take up the responsibilities of the developmental works selflessly after he is elected as the representative of Yaiskul AC.
Speaking about the importance of today's event, H Vikramjit stated that if NPP is strengthened and the public extends full support, he will surely win the election and will be able to bring a change in the constituency and in Manipur as a whole.
Since the NPP, Yaiskul Block Committee has been formed, offices at ward and booth levels will be opened accordingly, he added.
