Four delegates of All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) participated in the one-day seminar on Development of Eco-tourism in Indo-Bhutan border areas of Assam held at Baksa along Indo-Bhutan border on Dec 1 .
The seminar jointly organised by Manas Chowk Eco Tourism Society, Baksa and Journalists' Union of Assam underlined the need to develop eco-tourism at Baksa which would be a step to boost tourism industry in the country besides boosting the economy of the indigenous people inhabiting the area, an AMWJU statement said.
Twenty photos in landscape/gardening design of one of AMWJU's delegates, Ashem Bhakta were put on display during the seminar.
Not only earning admiration from many for the photos 'that added new conceptual input,' Bhakta was also engaged to take suitable eco-tourism related photos of the land by the concerned officials.
The AMWJU delegates included the union's general secretary, GA Naocha, standing committee member, Ashem Bhakta and Bikramjit.
