Medical camp held at Motbung

Imphal, September 01 2015:
Troops of Senapati Brigade under the aegis of Red Shield Division organised a free medical camp at Motbung of Senapati district on Aug 29 .
According to a statement issued by the PRO (Defence), Imphal, doctors and medical staff of Jwalamukhi Battalion attended approximately 630 patients which included 274 males, 236 females and 120 children.

The patients were also given adequate medicines and advice related to their health.
The medical officer also threw light on health and hygiene issues to the local people and gave medical advice on precautionary measures against various communicable diseases.
Alongwith providing medical camp the security forces had also set up a "Pre Recruitment Counseling Cell" for the local aspirants who wish to join the Armed Forces.
The counseling cell also provided the local youth with information on how to register for the various streams and recruitment options available to them, it added.
