Will look into rising price of agricultural items: MSF

Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) said it will look after the sell of agriculture related items at higher price.
MSF had submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister N Biren Singh and CAF&PD Minister on April 26, which included an appealed to ensure that agriculture related items are provided to the farmers at a subsidised rate.
However, the price of essential items including Urea, DAP (Diammonium Phosphate), MOP (Muriate of Potash), SSP (Single Super Phosphate), TSP (Triple Super Phosphate) etc.
which are much needed for a better yield are being sold at a higher price, said a statement issued by MSF today.
MSF had appealed for providing subsidies on such items as required by the farmers to increase their yields in view of the restrictions and lockdowns imposed by the Government in light of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
