Kunjamohon clarifies

Restless over the news report about the foiled assassin bid on his life, former Secretary of Board of Secondary Education Manipur, Nongthombam Kunjamohon has clarified that he has not faced any threat whatsoever from any militant group.
Kunjamohon, while addressing media persons at his Uripok residence today, clarified that he had not acted against the interest of any militant group.
He said he was the secretary of BOSEM from 1982 to 1990 .
Later, he was the secretary of COHSEM till 1995 and he led retired life for 18 years.
The 77 year old former BOSEM secretary further clarified that he had neither done anything against the interest of the people nor involved in any trouble during the span of his service.
Despite the fact that he has been confined at home since the last three months due to poor health condition, Kunjamohon said he was engaged in some literary works.
He clarified that no any militant group has issued threats to him.
To allay fear and apprehension resulting in the news report on his life bid, Kunjamohon further clarified that he is not acting against the interest of any militant outfit.
Mentionably, the police had claimed to have arrested three KYKL activists who were on a mission to execute Kunjamohon on Feb 8 .
