Community hall inaugurated at Rajaimai village

Senapati, September 29 2019:
Considered as one of the least developed and backward despite recognized as a revenue village, Rajaimai village under Willong sub-division tasted its first development project with the inauguration of a Community hall yesterday.
Constructed under 14th Finance of ADC Senapati, the new community hall was inaugurated by ADC executive member (TD) A Rang in the presence of ADC member Luba Thomas as guest of honour and local ADC member Rangpung John as functional president.
Reaching the village through the Maram-Peren road (NH-29/A), the village located along Barak River is some 75 kms away from Senapati DHQ.

With poor connectivity and under developed infrastructure till today, the new hall was constructed through the initiative of 10-Willong DCC ADC member Rangpung John.
The village is still without any proper school building, health center, playground or any Govt building.
Speaking at the occasion, the chief guest A Rang lauded the local leader for building the new community hall.
Appealing the villagers to promote unity and development, the NPF ADC member rooted for the promotion of leaders who walk the talk.
Guest of honour, Thomas Luba noted that if development has to come, villagers and all stakeholders need to join hands.
"Rajaimai village needs abled and generous leaders to bring development such as the new community hall we inaugurated today" he added.
Local ADC member Rangpung John, a former student's body leader and activist stressed on the need to have strong awareness on developmental issues and stable leadership.
He praised the villagers for extending support in building the new hall and thanked the local leaders for their assistance.
The three NPF ADC members also donated financial assistance to the village authority and womenfolks on the occassion.
The inauguration was participated by Maram Union members, MKS leaders, Willong Circle leaders and Church, village leaders from all Willong and Maram Khullen areas while local Church leaders Rangba Francis and Ngatuba Philip offered prayers during the function.
The Rajaimai village authority members while thanking for the new hall appealed for such projects and assured that the villagers will welcome and endorse leadership that promotes developmental activities in the village.
