KYU, KSO Sadar Hills thank Edn Minister

The Kanggui Youth Union and the Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills today extended heartfelt gratitude to all who have rendered tireless effort for ensuring successful conduct of TET 2013 in respect of Kangpokpi centre.
Talking to mediapersons today, Lien Kipgen, General Secretary of KYU, appreciated Education Minister Okendro for fulfilling his words on conducting TET in all district headquarters of the State.� He informed that TET was conducted successfully at Kanggui town with 5000 plus candidates, perhaps, the highest number of candidates among the Hills district.
On behalf of the Union, Lien Kipgen also extended gratitude to Kanggui Town Committee and Kanggui Women Welfare Organization for extending every possible help to the examination officials as well as to ZEO, Kangpokpi Ngahchong Kipgen and her staffs and security personnel for their commendable job towards ensuring successful conduct of TET.
The Union also extended its gratitude to the Flying Squad of Board of Secondary Education Manipur for carrying out their assigned duty effectively.
However, the Union felt that fixing the date of TET on Palm Sunday was unfortunate and appealed to the government and the concerned department to schedule such exam taking due consideration of religious sentiment of the Christian community in future.
On the other hand, Kuki Students' Organization (KSO), Sadar Hills also extended its gratitude and lauded the efforts of the recently posted Addl.Deputy Commissioner of Kangpokpi DK.Thangboi Haokip, who is also the Chairman of TET exam at Kangpokpi centre, SDC Kangpokpi Jeevan Limbu, BOSEM, ZEO Kpi officials, invigilators, security personnel, local town civil bodies for extending support and tireless effort in conducting the said test successfully.
The student body also expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the test and urged the government that not only TET exam, but other important exams should be conducted at Kanggui in future.
