Setting August 31 as the deadline for starting the judicial inquiry instituted by the State Government to probe into the July 23 firing incident at Khwairamband Bazar, All Communities United Front has warned launching various intense agitation if the Govt fails to do the needful in this regard.
Addressing a press conference at Ramji Khul of Tera today, president of the Front, A Kamei demanded to know the reason behind the inordinate delayed in starting the judicial inquiry announced by the State Govt on August 5 and said that the contention of the State Govt that the inquiry could not be commenced as no sitting Judge has come forward to head the inquiry is not acceptable.
He also announced the unflinching support of the Front to the ongoing public demand for resignation of Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh.
