RBCC's Women Conference concludes

The 5th Women Conference of Rongmei Baptist Churches Council (RBCC) organised by the Women Department RBCC under the theme, "Godly Women in the Changing World" concluded on Friday.
It was attended by Gaikhangam, CWC, AICC & former Deputy CM and Mercina R Panmei, Commissioner.
DoT, Government of Manipur as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Gaikhangam extended his best wishes and exhorted all the women delegates to return home with the spirit & good morals gained by listening to the words of God from the speakers.
Mercina stated that women have a great responsibility in building society.
"Now is the time to question ourselves on what we can do to bring change in our family, Church and society.
We must ask ourselves whether we are playing a constructive or destructive role for the society", he added.
Choirs songs competitions, seminars, cultural show, talent show and displaying of Rongmei traditional dresses were the main highlights of the 3-days long event.
About 15000 delegates from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland took part in the event.
Winners of the Choirs Song Competition in order of merit for Group A are -Neikanlong, Baptist Church, Imphal West; RBCC Centre Church, Tarung Imphal West; and Dimdailong Baptist Church, Imphal East.
Group B- Khumji Part-3, Baptist Church, Noney District; Siangai Namdai Baptist Church, Bishnupur District and Thianjang Baptist Church, Bishnupur District.
Group C- Bathel Baptist Church Tamenglong; Nungba Baptist Church, Noney District and Emanuel Baptist Church, Tamenglong.
Moreover, an office memorandum issued by the Chief Medical Officer Noney informed that a team of medical staff took part in the 5th Women Conference to provide necessary medical care during the conference.
The team comprised on Dr Jendum Golmei, Medical Officer; Dr Lanjangliu Kamei, Medical Officer; Dr Adim Gangmei, Medical Officer; Jenny Gangmei, ANM; Elizabeth Gonmei, ANM; and Pathokim Chiru, ANM.
