There are 19 students in class I and 4 students in class II in accordance to the register maintained.
But only five students could be seen during the inspection visit.
There is only one teacher, Sushila, who is also the headmistress and she has hired private teacher on contract for taking the classes.
Mid day meal is provided in the school just 2/3 times in a month and there is no attendence or stock register.
There is also no clarify over who constitute SMDC of the school.
It has been learnt that one AI Dhananjoy of ZEO Kakching had come to collect the signature of the headmistress on a cheque for providing grant to the school.
But the AI did not reappear after that.
In Kakching Khunou New Primary School, rice under Mid-Day meal scheme has been provided only till July and the attendence register, stock register, cash book, etc have not been handed over after submission at the office of ZEO.
Interestingly, the names of the students have not been registered in the attendence register so far even though the academic session started since April.
Although it was claimed that there are over 40 students in the school, the inspection team could come across only 7 to 8 students.

Rice under Mid-Day Meal for August and September have not been provided.

So two private teachers have been hired for taking the classes.
Construction work on the toilet of the school which was started since last year is yet to be completed and even before the completion of the process for construction of room extension, a sanction order for a new room-extension has been issued and construction work started without the knowledge of the headmaster.
The class rooms are also leaking.
The building of Wangoo Laipham Primary School has been destroyed in a recent storm.
In Wangoo Tera Junior High School, there are classes from 1 to 8 and a total of 305 students.
As the five Government appointed teachers are not sufficient for taking classes, six more private teachers have been hired for teaching the students.
