Cyclothons spread Fit India message

National Service Scheme of Don Bosco College Maram has organised 'Fit India Cyclothon' under the theme' Pedal your way to fitness', today.
The cyclothon flagged off by the college's Principal, Dr Fr KO Sebastian from Maram Centre concluded at Maram Bazar.
Fit India is a Nationwide movement to encourage people to remain healthy and fit by including physical activities and sports in their daily lives.
The event was organised under the leadership of the three college's teachers namely Sr Sweta, Sir Th Syamsunder Luwang and Sir John Britto.
To create awareness about the importance of health and fitness with fun, Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Bishnupur and District Administration, Bishnupur also organised Fit India Cyclothon at Bishnupur District.
The cyclothon participated by over 100 boys and girls was flagged of by Bishnupur Deputy Commissioner Neeta Arambam from Mini-Secretariat campus in the presence of DLOs and volunteers from different walks of life.
As part of Fit India Movement, Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Chandel and District Administration, Chandel also organised a walkathon at Chandel District.
