Imphal, February 13 2016 :
In a move to abolish seedy
restaurants which have
become breeding ground
for immoral acts, Young
Women Help Organisation
(YWHO) has resumed its
drive today at Lairenjam
Chanura Bazar.
During the drive at
Sangai Cafe, a young
man was found with
another woman in an
indecent manner inside
the restaurant.
The
woman disclosed that she
is already married with
children, but her husband
has expired.
A heated argument
arose between the
volunteers of YWHO and
the restaurant owner.
Later, the volunteers took
the help of police.
It has urged the Police
Department to keep a
check on such restaurant,
failing which restaurants
will become a hotbed for
crime, according to a
press release issued by
the president of YWHO.
