Rajashri Bhagyachandra Skill Development Centre inaugurated

Imphal, November 10 2016:
Visiting Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Radha Mohan Singh today inaugurated the newly constructed Rajashri Bhagyachandra Skill Development Centre at Haraorou, Imphal East.
The Union Minister attended the inaugural programme as chief guest while president of Seva Bharati Manipur A Brajakumar Sharma was the functional president.
Vice Chancellor of CAU Dr M Premjit Singh, Chairman of Laxmi Publication Pvt.
New Delhi Rajendra Gupta and Organising Secretary, Rashtriya Seva Bharti Gurusharan attended as guests of honour.
Addressing the inaugural function which was attended by number of Bharatiya Janata Party supporters and key leaders of BJP Manipur Pradesh, Radha Mohan said the centre will provide a platform for skill development to the youths of North Eastern States particularly Manipur.

Regional centre like Central Agricultural University (CAU) and ICAR will provide all forms of technical assistance to the centre in the coming days, he said.
Such centres will provide the youths a sense of interdependence while establishing their own enterprises which will ultimately help in the growth of the nation.
Under the Skill India programme launched by the Prime Minister on July 15, 2015, by the end of 2022, 40 crore youths will be trained in various employment oriented fields as per their potentialities, the Union Minister said.
The programme comprises of different phases namely National Skill Development Mission, National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Prime Minister Skill Development Scheme, Skill Loan Scheme as well as Rural India Skill etc for the benefits of the youths.
