Imphal, December 09 2009:
The working committee of Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital Employees' Welfare Association has decided that all the doctors of the medical centre will extend full cooperation to the MCI inspection team, that visit JNIMS, said a release.
Our relentless service rendered to this hospital will definitely be a major factor to the forward steps for recognition of the JNIMS, the release issued by the Association general secretary maintained while conveying that the working committee had also decided to abstain from taking leave, irrespective of personal problems of the doctors concerned as upgradation of the hospital to the status of a medical college is the top priority.
Any kind of negative impression by certain interested groups to downplay the contribution of JNH doctors is unfortunate as major responsibility of running this hospital is currently borne by the JNH doctors, whose first priority is the recognition by MCI to start the academic session in the next year (2010), added the secretary.
