Rules framed for home isolation management

Rules and regulations have been framed for Manipur Home Isolation Management Online Application which was formed on May 25 with the main objective to look after COVID-19 positive people who opt for home isolation mode of treatment.
According to an order issued in this regard by director (health) Dr K Rajo, relevant official or field health worker or patient himself/herself should include name of the patient in the monitoring list to enable the patient to look after in time.
The application should be downloaded from Google playstore and start registration immediately after being downloaded.
Soon after registration, the patient has to do a verification request at district level admin user and the latter will give approval for home isolation based on status of the patient.
Soon after giving approval, the applicant will be enrolled to the application and the monitoring team will look after the patient immediately.
District admin will link the patient to a health worker and the latter will look after the patient regularly.
Enrolled patient has to upload his/her oxygen, pulse rate and symptoms and the patient could see guidelines issued by the state and central government for home isolation from time to time.
If there is any problem in registering the application, the patient could contact helpline number given in www.mhim.in for any help.
Field health workers and officials looking after home isolation could use pre-registered phone number of the patient and log in.
Just after log in, the health worker would allow the patient to choose district, CHC, UCH and sub-centre of choice.
As per the present status, the patient would be linked to a doctor through health worker, the order said.
A district level admin user could open account of CHC, PHC or UCH lying within the district.
District tele-caller, which is part of district home isolation control room, should assess conditions of patients under home isolation daily while district level admin users should also upload active home isolation cases.
State level admin user should open an account for districts and the same admin should also upload active list of home isolation patients daily, the order added.
