Imphal, July 08 2016 :
The United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) has thanked all the
volunteers who pain stakingly laboured to search the missing body
of late 'Capt' Jamkholal Zou.
It also expressed special gratitude and
appreciation to KCA, KWU&HR, KSO, ZYO, HTC, youth and
old alike and also to all those volunteers from Myanmar as well.
"Capt Jamkholal Zou was a noble soul, benevolent, long
suffering and great hearted.
He was meek, humble and well
disciplined in all walks of life.
And the allegation that he was
killed because of an altercation by KNLF-KNO is absolutely
a lie and totally baseless and the UKLF refutes all charges
made against him," it said.
It also encouraged his family members and kinsmen es-
pecially ZOMA, UZO and ZSP to not be disheartened by the
sad demise of late Capt Jamkholal Zou alias George who
was also slain like his father late Jamkhothang alias Solomon
Zou while also urging them to continue support to the ideals
of UKLF as they did.
"We wish our Zou brethren that God will give you great
leaders like Solomon Zou and George Zou," it said.
It then demanded KNO to take action against the culprits
who broke the solemn covenant made between UKLF leader
and KNO leader on Oct 24, 2015 at Tengnoupal which was
facilitated by ordained Pastor in the presence of Kuki CSOs,
well known figures from Manipur and the public, that no
more killings would take place.
"Only when they take action
against the culprits, can we really believe that the covenant
made on that day was true not just in words but in deed,"
it added.
This is not the first time KNO has back stabbed
UKLF.
Numerous times they have brokered peace deals and
after every deal they would leave an agonizing marks of
casualties on cadres of the UKLF.
Every comrade of Late
Capt Jamkholal Zou is crying for the blood of the culprits
as any sane cadre would but since UKLF believes that
revenge is not a way to find peaceful solutions.
It urged
KNO to d
issolve KNLF-KNO and to take the most stringent
action against the culprits if they want the peace deal to remain
unchanged.
