KYU congratulates successful lecturer candidates of Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, November 07 2017: Kanggui Youth Union congratulated the two beauties of Kangpokpi who successful cracked the MPSC recruitment examination for the post of Assistant Professor in Government College .

Dr Grace Lhaineikim Chongloi (32), d/o ex-Councillor of ADC Sadar Hills of Kangpokpi, (L) Haokholun Kipgen and Jangdeilhing Misao (27), d/o Henkholun Misao of Kangpokpi Ward No 6 cracked the competitive examination for post the Assistant Professor, conducted by the MPSC .

Dr Grace Lhaineikim Chongloi and Jangdeilhing Misao acquired post in Zoology and Sociology respectively .

Dr Grace Lhaineikim Chongloi is the first among the Thadou-Kuki community to complete a PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and was conferred Doctor of Philosophy in Faculty of Science by the institute.

She is currently pursuing Post-Doctoral Studies in Molecular Genetics at the Prestigious Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel .

Meanwhile Jangdeilhing Misao, whose academic career has been praiseworthy since high school completed her Matriculation at Nirmalabas High School, Imphal .

She secured third position in the HSE from TG Higher Secondary School and completed her graduation from St Xavier College, Mumbai and finished her Masters in Sociology at Mumbai University .

She received JRF in 2015 and served as a Lecturer in Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy since 2016 .

While speaking with the successful ladies over the phone, Dr Grace Lhaineikim Chongloi, who is currently in Israel said that she is yet to decide upon her achievement while Jangdeilhing Misao who is currently at the State Capital will go on with her achievement and give the credit of her success to the Almighty God .

Meanwhile, Kanggui Youth Union expressed heartiest congratulation to the two successful ladies of Kangpokpi DHQs and conveyed their sincere appreciation upon their success.

"Your success and achievement means a lot to the youths of the town and we feel very blessed to have you", said the congratulatory notes of the KYU while adding “You will be an inspiration and a role model among the youths of Kangpokpi”.KYU wished the two young successful ladies a bright and successful journey in their future endeavour.
