SFS Daili celebrates Tiny Tot's day, Science and Arts exhibition held

St Francis De Sales School, Daili in Kangpokpi District wore a festive look on Saturday as it lay out red carpet for its distinguished guests and parents to celebrate its Tiny Tot's Day cum Science and Arts exhibition in its school campus.
Dr Rangitabali Waikhom, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Kangpokpi graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Fr Jose, Missionaries of St Francis De Sales Provincial, North East Province and Rev Fr Kurian, Principal, St Francis De Sales School, Daili attended as Guest of Honour and Functional President respectively.
38 AR Kangpokpi Post Commander, Maj Yogesh also took part in the celebration.
The two anchors of class I, Mohit and Tupana, took audience through the programme with great energy and enthusiasm after the dignitaries who were impressively welcome by the impressive SFS Band Party, had a thorough inspection of the Science and Arts exhibition in various classes.
The Tiny Tot's Day celebration commenced with a prayer in praise and appreciation of God followed by a prayer dance from Class I students while Charoa delivered impressive welcome speech and Meiveikho and Co presented welcome song.
Various other items including Mao dance, Couple dance, Kuki dance, etc were also presented during the programme apart from motivational speech by Dr Rangitabali Waikhom and Fr Jose and an appreciation speech on the part of Rev Fr Kurian.
Students of KG-1 put forward an eye catching rendition of dance which receives rave review from the audience particularly the Deputy Commissioner which was also appreciated by all.
The celebration received overwhelming response and praise.
The children had worked hard to perform their best while the teachers also played an important role in making the celebration a success.
During inspection of the Science and Arts exhibition, many eye catching and innovative ideas of St Francis De Sales School, Daili, the first school to introduce smart class in the District, were seen through their creation of various item including electrical planes, working JCB, radio and vacuum cleaner, etc.
DC Kangpokpi appreciated the education imparted by the school to its students and encouraged the students to come up with more innovative ideas in future.
