Imphal, February 07 2017:
Kuki National Liberation Front (KNLF/KNO) has today sought apology from KSO, Gunpi Block vice-president Paominlun Khongsai in order to avoid punishment.
In a statement, KNLF/KNO claimed that involvement of KSO, Gunpi Block in the matter of KNLF/KNO and UKLF started when the student body, under the supervision off UKLF, dared to kidnap some KNLF leaders in Churachandpur.
Therefore, befitting punishments were given to late Jangkholam Simte and his associate Zamchinthang Zou.
"KNLF knew that Jangkholam Simte and Zamchinthang Zou were not mere innocent civilians but were working in collusions with one UKLF leader to obstruct KNLF in establishment of its camp at Hengshi village, Chandel district," the statement said.
Hypocrites cannot work for both devil and angel.
Such student leaders cannot lead a student body in the said block.
"KSO, Gunpi Block should understand this fact.
If vice-president of KSO, Gunpi Block continues to follow the footsteps of late Jangkholam Simte and Zamchinthang Zou, he will dealt accordingly.
Therefore, in order to avoid punishment, he should apologise," the statement added.
