Kangpokpi bodies condemn

Kangpokpi, January 07 2013:
Sadar Hills Women Union (SHWU), Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization (KWWO), and Tujang Area Youth Association (TAYA) today condemned the assault and subsequent disposal of an unconscious body of a man suspected to be a non-local near Bimparao on Jan 5 .
The man succumbed to his injury later at CHC, Kangpokpi at around 3:30pm the same day.
The Sadar Hills Women Union condemned the incident vehemently terming the act as 'inhuman' .
They demanded from the State Government that proper mechanism be put into place to provide security and restore confidence in the rule of law in the area.
On the other hand, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization has also condemned the incident in the strongest term.
Asserting that it is against such criminal activities on any community in the area, the KWWO affirmed that it will not tolerate any activities which can disturb the peaceful environmente.
Meanwhile TAYA in its released said that, such act is carried out to disturb the peace in the area by some vested interest person while registering strong denouncement on the act.
TAYA also urged all concerned not to repeat such incidents in the future and warned of taking up steps if such incident happens in future.
