Imphal, July 04 2019:
Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (LNKR) has appealed to all the stakeholders of both the hills and the valley to consult the students' organization before carrying out any social activities or programmes in the areas, where the said students' organization is representing for.
The appeal came in the wake of conducting a free mega medical camp at Kongphung Village under Tamei Sub-division which was organized by Joint Students' Coordination Committee (JSCC) in collaboration with JNIMS, RIMS, AYUSH, SIMS and ZSUM from July 2 to 4 last.
Addressing a press meet held at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul today, LNKR general secretary Th Masanbou stated that the students' body welcome and appreciate JSCC, RIMS, AYUSH and SIMS for conducting the free mega health camp at Kongphung village.
However, the general secretary expressed unhappiness that the stakeholders, who organized the free medical camp had not consulted LNKR before organising the camp while claiming that Kongphung village is under its purview.
He further appealed to all stakeholders of both the hills and the valley to consult LNKR before organizing any kind of programmes and activities in the areas where the said students' organization is representing for.
