Special emphasis was laid on the importance of awareness against drug abuse amongst the society.
Mission Veng being a border village and ready availability of various kinds of drugs through the porous borders has disturbed the society to a great extent.
Individuals shared their stories about their acquaintances who have been a victim of drug abuse and how not only the individuals suffer because of drug abuse issues but also non-cooperation from family members further aggravates the situation.
The seminar concluded by taking a unanimous pledge to fight against the menace of drug abuse and help in thrashing the supply of drugs from foreign territory.
