Jiribam PCO owners decry BSNL

Imphal, July 07: The All Jiribam STD, PCO Owners' Association has decried the failure of the BSNL in providing service with efficiency to the people of Jiribam, reports our Jiribam correspondent.

Secretary of the Association Kh Bokul lamented that the present BSNL service in Jiri is being provided from Rongpur, Silchar, Assam and the optical fire cable used is frequently snapped.

He also alleged that the BSNL office at Rongpur does not care about the absence of network in Jiribam.

He appealed to the BSNL authority of Imphal to connect Jiri from Imphal at the earliest so as to restore regular service without depending on the BSNL offices at Assam.
