NE students conclave

A special conclave for students of North East region will be held as a part of the India Inter-national Science Festival 2019 which will be held from November 5 to 8 at Kolkata under the aegis of Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Science and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The four day long festival, which will be attended by Union Science and Technology and Earth Science and Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Harsh Var- dhan, will also see participation of numerous foreign Ministers and diplomats.
During the conclave for North East students which will be held at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre as a part of the festival on November 7 and 8, a training programme will be held by experts for students and teachers from the North East, apart from poster and model exhibition.
A presentation on 'Conservation of Biodiversity for Sustainable Life in North East Region' will be shown and it will be attended by Education Minister Th Radheshyam and the Depu-ty Chief Minister of Tripura.
The closing event of the conclave, which will also include various North East cultural shows, will be attended by DoNER Minister Dr Jitendra and Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju.
During the festival, Global Indian Scientists and Technocrat Meet, International Science Film Festival India, Mega Science, Technology and Industry Expo, Traditional Craft and Artisan Meet, National Science Teachers Conclave, Young Scientists Conference, Overseas Ministers and Diplomat Conclave, Women Scientists and Entrepreneurs Conclave, Students Engineering Competition etc will also be organised.
Many students will be attempting to get included in the Guinness World Records in 4 topics during the festival.
IISF began from 2015 and this year, the festival will be held at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre and Science City, Kolkata.
