Aid for Moreh fire victims

Moreh, November 26 2011:
Hill Tribal Council (HTC) Moreh has provided monetary support to the nine fire affected families of Moreh town.
The fire that consumed nine houses happened in the night of November 17 at Moreh Forest Gate.
Relief secretary in charge of HTC, Yangsei Haokip donated 124 Kgs of rice and Rs 1850 to the affected families from the relief fund of the body.
The council also extended monetary assistance of Rs 5000 and Rs 6850 to Pabem and P Kumar respectively, which were the two worst affected households in the fire.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, Yangsei Haokip said that Hill Tribal Council would help people suffered in various incidents irrespective of ethnic differences.
He also sought attention of the relevant authority of the State Government to assist the wretched households.
Meanwhile, Manipuri Muslim Council, Moreh also donated 96 Kgs of rice to three fire affected households of Moreh Ward No 7 .
