NYK Chandel organises youth leadership training camp

Chandel, January 21 2023:
The 3-days "Training in Youth Leadership and Community Development (TYLCD)" camp organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Chandel in collaboration with Molnoi Area Youth Union (MAYU) concluded on Saturday at M Twinom Community Hall.
The closing ceremony was attended by Nula Kohringam Anal, CEO Libero Sports India; Seigouchon Haokip, Gold Medallist in State Wrestling Championship 2022; Lhunmang Haokip, chairman MACWS; Michael Thangminlien Mate, District Youth Officer, NYK Chandel; Letkhosei Haokip, AAO, CAG and Dr Wanlar Somie, president Japhou Youth Club as presidium members.
On the first day of the training camp, Michael Mate highlighted various programmes of NYKS and the Department of Youth Affairs.
Sapam Lalhari Singh, Informatics Officer, DIT Thoubal delivered a lecture on "Digital Literacy" and Mona Aimol, corporate trainer, trained the youths on "Communication & Motivational Skills" .
The second day kicked off with a session on "Skill Development Ecosystem" by Siakpa Aimol, assistant general manager JCRE Skills Solution followed by a presentation on "Entrepreneurship Funding" by Chintiantal Ngaihte, Branch Manager, Manipur Rural Bank Tengnoupal.
Hechin Haokip, secretary Centre for Women & Girls rounded off the day with a lecture on "Leadership & Personality Development" .
On the third day, Ng Rameson Monsang, Senior Consultant NVBDCP elaborated on the importance of documentation and accounts management for youth clubs while Nula Kohringam spoke on "Opportunities in Sports" .
The training camp culminated with a Feedback cum Group Discussion session by the trainees.
It may be mentioned that the opening ceremony of the training camp held on January 19 was attended by Serto Apao Aimol, BRP; Michael Mate; Thangkhanlal Haokip, SubInspector, CISF and Sapam Lathari Singh as presidium members.
