Six stolen two wheeler vehicles were recovered from some vehicle lifters from different areas by Anjuman Isla-E-Muasarah (Anjuman) this month.
Few lifters have also been nabbed by Anjuman, reportedly.
Anjuman was established in 2011 to root out the practice of vehicle theft from the State.
The vehicles were recovered during several drives carried out by the group.
Five vehicles were shown to mediapersons at the Anjuman's office premises today.
Anjuman could not produce one vehicle as it was yet to be brought from a different location.
The six vehicles included one new model red Honda Activa, one new model white Honda Dio, one old model grey Honda Activa, one black Bajaj Web and a white Kinetic Honda.
Anjuman's secretary has conveyed that there are seven stolen vehicles at Anjuman office including one vehicle recovered earlier and the owners may claim their vehicles at Anjuman's office located near Lilong Haoreibi river Dam between 9 am and 11 am and 2 pm and 6 pm.
The vehicle lifters caught during the drive are being detained at Anjuman's office for further verification, he said.
