TNWL condemns Malue's assassination

Ukhrul, August 19 2014:
The Tangkhul Naga Wungnao Long (TNWL) has condemned the killing of ADC Ukhrul Vice Chairman Ngalangzar Malue.
President of the Long (TNWL), S Raihing while briefing the media persons at Yaingangpokpi Wunghon today said that the death of Ng Malue is a great loss to them.
It condemned the incident and would like to appeal to the concerned Government authorities to relax the impositions that whipped in Ukhrul town.
S Raihing said, there is a social boycott of all ADC Members in Ukhrul according to the resolutions of Naga Peoples' Convention.
As human beings the members of TNWL condemned the assassination of Ng Malue, he added.
He said, there is an information gap among civil societies organisations of Tangkhuls when the incident took place.
Their custom even barred them to co-operate those who were punished.
But killing of Ng Malue was gross violation of human rights, he asserted.
On the other hand, he appealed the Government to relax the impositions whipped in Ukhrul town under Section 144 of CrPC and the deployment of police commandos and IRB personnel.
