Imphal, September 15 2012:
The RPF/PLA has claimed responsibility for planting a bomb at the quarters of 25th BRTF Commandant Mohanlal near Lamphel police station on September 13 .
Wearing a cloak of doing civil works like building roads and bridges, BRTF has been collecting and collating information for the imperialist Government of India, the outfit alleged in a press release issued by its Secretary Publicity T Leisemba.
RPF/PLA is fully aware of BRTF's secret activities aimed at suppressing the liberation movement and the bomb placed at the Commandant's quarters was a warning.
All the agencies which are helping in keeping Manipur under alien occupation would be treated as enemies.
However, the bomb could not be triggered as its presence was realised by inmates of the house before it could be set off.
Nevertheless, RPF has conveyed its intended message to the BRTF.
The Government of India has been deploying large number of BRTF personnel in remote areas of the State.
Consequent upon their prolonged stay in these areas, the BRTF labourers and staff married indigenous women and are grooming their own offsrpings.
In addition, they have monitoring movement of revolutionaries and are passing information to the Government of India, it alleged.
All these are no secret to RPF and PLA.
By swindling huge amounts of money sanctioned for development of National Highways, BRTF has been inflicting a great misery to the people of Manipur in the field of business and commerce.
One vivid evidence of BRTF's sinister design is their inability to develop NH 37 to a standard highway even after taking charge of the highway for many decades.
Not only in Manipur, the Government of India in collusion with BRTF has been executing many covert strategies even in neighbouring countries too, it alleged.
