Trained nurses warn of cease work strike from July 29 onwards

The Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), Manipur State Branch will launch various forms of protests and strike if the legitimate demands of the nurses are not met by July, 20 .
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, Government of Manipur, TNAI Manipur State Branch said that the Association have been demanding for the enhancement of the grade pay and nursing allowance of various categories of nurses working under the State Government at par with the nurses working under Central Government since the implementation of the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission in the State.
However no necessary orders have been issued by the Government in this regard till date though repeated assurances have been given by the Govt.The Trained Nurses Association of India, Manipur State Branch therefore warned of intense form of agitations if their demands are not fulfilled by July, 20.Mass black badge protest will be done from July 21 till July 28 and will resort to cease work strike from July 29 onwards, added the statement.
