Free stone detection camp

On successful completion of 20 years of key hole surgery in Manipur, Shija Hospitals, Eastern India's pioneer and leading brand in key hole surgery organized a one day free stone detection camp at its base hospital today from 8 am to 1 pm.
According to a statement, a team of doctors comprising Dr Jugindra S, consultant general and laparoscopic surgeon cum Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) National Faculty, Dr Chandragupta Ch, consultant general and laparoscopic surgeon, Dr Ajit Lukram, consultant GI and general surgeon, Dr Gautam Thangjam, consultant interventional radiologist and Dr Rockey L, consultant sonologist screened altogether 56 patients during the said camp.
It is worth mentioning that Shija Hospitals was the first hospital to start laparoscopic surgery or key hole surgery in Manipur on May 10, 1996.Shija Hospitals has been providing total stone solutions under one roof with state of the art most patient friendly technologies.
Till date, more than 20,000 key hole surgeries have been performed successfully by this premier private health care institute.
Free ultrasound screening and free surgery OPD consultations were the main highlights of the camp.
Also patients detected during the camp will be provided 15 pc concession on key hole surgeries if done latest by May 31, 2016, it said.
