People play a huge role in Nation building: Dr Lorho S Pfoze

Lok Sabha MP Dr Lorho S Pfoze has conveyed that the duty entrusted upon him by the people when they voted for him, is immense but the responsibility of Nation building also lies with the people as well.
He made the statement during a thanksgiving ceremony which was organised at CHAM auditorium, Kanglatongbi, under Kangpokpi district today under the aegis of Naga People's Front.
Dr Lorho S Pfoze expressed gratitude to all the people of the State, specially the people of the valley, and added that he knew that this election will be a trend setter for the elections to come.
As such, the people should work together in bringing positive changes and solution to social instability, political turmoil and rift among the various communities of the State, he added.
Lorho continued that NPF is not only for the Naga people but is a party committed to working for all.
He opined that as long as there is disharmony among the communities residing in the State, there will not be any peace or development.
It is no use living in the past or debating on past issues and incidents.
Now, it is imperative to work together for the betterment of the future generations, he said.
Speaking at the event, Awangbou Newmai, president of NPF State unit expressed gratitude to all the voters of the Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency and urged Dr Lorho S Pfoze to work diligently for the welfare of the people of Manipur.
Asking the people to further support Pfoze, he also sought the cooperation of all to support the party so that it can face any unpredictable situation which might crop up in the future.
