'Jagni Rath' welcomed at Parsian, Kangpokpi

The 'Jagni Rath Yatra' that started from the pilgrimage site of Navtanpuri Dham in Jamnagar, Gujaraton September 19, 2017 reached the Krishna Pranami Mandir, Parsian in Kangpokpi District, Manipur today.
The Rath Yatra passed through eleven States of the country before reaching Parsian Nepali village in Kangpokpi and was honorably welcomed by the people of Parsian village.
The religious procession was started by Krishna Pranami Vishwa Parishad to commemorate the 4th centenary celebration Mahamati Prannath, flambeau of equal gesture towards all religions who pioneered equality of all faith and religions, universal love, social harmony and self-awakening.
Around 300 followers attended the celebration at Krishna Pranami Mandir.
Speaking to media persons, Ratan Rizal, general secretary, Krishna Pranami Dharmasava, Manipur said that the nationwide centenary celebration of Mahamati Prannath has been organised with a motive to propagate Mahamati's messages of universal love, equality of all faith, religions and human being, peace and social harmony to the masses.
He further said that attention of Indian historians has not been properly centralized on life and philosophy of the great soul Mahamati Prannath while appealing everyone to support and collaborate so as to reach the Mahamati Prannath message to all.
The religious procession will remain at Krishna Pranami Mandir, Parsian till this evening and will continue towards the State capital tomorrow and the precession will leave for Assam the next day.
