Civil bodies including KSO, KWU, TSA, TYA, TWA and other local bodies also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding immediate withdrawal of the commandos from Sadar Hills.
Protesters said that people of Sadar Hills do not feel safe with the presence of State security forces since the police personnel do not hesitate to shoot live ammunition towards the hill people.
They added that there are enough number of paramilitary forces protecting the National Highway.
As such, deployment of commandos is not required.
Leaders of Sadar Hills CSOs reportedly held another joint meeting for further course of agitation.
