Parents of accused plead

The parents of Palujam Jameson, accused in the killing of Pampha Rai of 2nd MR who along with his family is banished from his locality, appealed to all concerned to spare the family members from the punishment on humanitarian ground.
The parents urged all concerned that the punishment be given to the accused and his family members be spared from it.
Locals of Langjing Achouba Maning Leikai had decided to banish the accused and his family from the locality yesterday.
Addressing reporters at an undisclosed location here today, parents of Jameson said their son and Pampha Rai had a relation since three years back.
After divorcing his first wife, his family decided to arrange the marriage of Jameson and Pampha Rai, the parents said.
As such, the parents could not believe that their son would murder his fiancee.
And if he did so, he must be punished accordingly and his family should be spared from the punishment on humanitarian ground, they appealed.
