ADC Sadar Hills promotes sanitation in Sapormeina

Upholding the initiative of the State Government in regard to sanitation, Autonomous District Council Sadar Hills yesterday handed over a handcart for collection of waste materials in Sapormeina area.
Speaking to media persons after handling the cart at his residence in Sapormeina, ADC Sadar Hills Executive Member, Lunthang Haokip, who is the local MDC said that cleanliness has been widely promoted in the State more particularly in the municipal areas of the State capital, after BJP came into power.
He continued the State Government and the MAHUD Minister enthusiastically pushed cleanliness in the Municipal areas and now sanitation of the State capital is no less than other city in term of sanitation which is indeed a good initiative to promote in every nook and corner of the State.
The Executive Member said, considering the essence of sanitation and the necessity of upholding the initiative of the State Govt in every District HQs and Sub Divisional HQs, Autonomous District Council Sadar Hills under 3rd State Finance Second Installment made dustbin carrier and Handcart to keep the District HQs and Sub Divisional HQs neat and tidy.
He further said that the handcart for use in disposal of waste materials in and around Sapormeina is also constructed under 3rd State Finance Second Installment and as the local MDC, he one behalf of ADC Sadar Hills handed it to the Sapormeina Bazar Board so as to begin cleanliness campaign in the Sub Divisional HQs.
While stressing the necessity and essence of cleanliness, the Executive Member appealed the denizens of Sapormeina and Bazar Board committee to ensure that every nook and corner of Sapormeina are keep clean and tidy.
