The Churachandpur Mautam Aid Relief Committee has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister O Ibobi urging him to release the outstanding salaries of all Government employees, including those under the Autonomous District Council so as to ensure the success of the fund drive being organised in aid for the Mautam victims of Churachandpur district.
With the target amount of the fund drive pegged at Rs 50 lakhs, through Donors' coupons at the value of Rs 100 per leaf in three months time, that is by April 30, the Committee is constrained to approach all Government employees to liberally contribute, said the memorandum and urged the Chief Minister to release the pay of the
employees soon.
