"Eikhoigee Thabak Supham" a platform established with the motto- Work for a better future-is all set to provide suitable to people displaced by the recent communal clash.
Addressing media persons at the office of "Eikhoigee Thabak Supham" at Uripok Khoisnam Leikai, its secretary Khomdram Budha alias Baba Fish stated that the platform was floated to extend a helping hand to people in dire straight after their houses were razed to the ground during the recent communal violence.
Most of these people, who were residing at the peripheral and foothill villages, happen to be daily wage earners and the platform looks forward to alleviate their hardships at its best level.
For this, the platform has worked out a solution to provide suitable jobs, he said.
The platform will facilitate jobs at farms for willing persons and those who are good at driving will be ensured driver's jobs, he said.
Jobs for sweeper at private hospitals, helpers at home, hotels, fast food establishments etc will also be provided through the platform, he added.
Khomdram Budha also appealed to job providers/employers to ensure decent and deserving remunerations to these people considering them as their own brothers and sisters.
He also went on to announce a salary between Rs 10-15 thousand for those who possess skills of dressing chicken and fish at Baba Fish and Chicken Centre.
Also announcing to provide accommodations for those willing to work at poultry farms, Budha also assured to ensure medical check-up for every 40 days and free medicines to them.
