Imphal, May 22 2010:
People of Mao fled away leaving their homes in the aftermath of violence incident at Mao gate stand-off have started returning home.
The situation at Mao gate is also returning to normalcy, a report received from Mao gate said.
The report said people who flee in the aftermath of the May 6 incident due to fear have started returning home.
Children also started going school.
Shops also opened.
The passenger taxi services from Senapati to Mao, Mao to Kohima have also resumed to normalcy.
But the ban on the Manipur vehicles in Nagaland by the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) is yet to be withdrawn.
