Imphal, August 21 2011:
Lions and Lioness Clubs of Imphal organised a health check-up camp at Marwari Dharamsala today.
Around 500 people were benefited with free check-up of diabetes, haemoglobin testing and blood pressure.
Lions Club of Imphal President Vijay Patni said, the club organises eye check-up camp on every second and fourth Sundays every month at Sangaiprou.
If any cataract case is detected in the camp, the club provides all the necessary help, he added.
The president further said that the club had planted 500 saplings at the campus of Oriental College.
The club would check the saplings every month.
