Congress Enrolment drive on

The Congress party has been continuing with its mass enrolment campaign ahead of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly elections.
To oversee the enrolment campaign which started since November 2 and continue till November 29, National Youth Congress Pradesh Returning Officer Deepak Rathore and two Returning Officers of the Lok Sabha have been camping at Imphal.
As a part of the campaign, an enrolment drive for youths between 18 years and 35 years was conducted today at Kshetrigao Block Congress Committee office.
The enrolment drive was conducted by Lok Sabha Returning officer Mohan Sharma, BCC president N Biren and vice-president Abdul Muqadin.
Around 100 youths were enrolled in Congress today.
Similar enrolment drives were also conducted in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa and Langthabal Assembly constituencies in Imphal West district.
The enrolment drive in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC was conducted by Deepak Rathore and Lok Returning Officer Ukendra K Mishra.
Speaking at the occasion, Deepak Rathore said that Congress has no reservation policy to give tickets to young candidates for the forthcoming elections.
Nevertheless, Congress party has a principle of fielding dynamic, capable and social minded young candidates in elections.
