Manipur Youth and Students' Union (MYSU) raised suspicion of 'question leak' of the English subject of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) which commenced today.
MYSU raised the above suspicion as the union found a number of notes at the Khangabok Higher Secondary School exam centre today where the answers were written in the same series as per the question paper of the English subject.
In view of the above MYSU urged BOSEM and authorities concerned to probe the matter to ascertain whether questions were leaked or not.

Addressing media persons during a press meet held today at MYSU's Head Office, Porompat DC Road, Assistant Publicity Secretary Yumkhaibam Mukhtar informed that different teams of MYSU carried out inspection visit at Lilong Higher Secondary School; Islamic English School; Khangabok Higher Secondary School, Sangaiyumpham Higher Secondary School and Wangjing Higher Secondary School today which is the first day of HSLC exams.
During the visit, it was found that mass copy was done at Wangjing Higher Secondary School and Sangaiyumpham Higher Secondary School which is really unfortunate, he said.
He went on to inform that apart from mass copying, many micro notes were found lying at the toilets of these schools.
Expressing concern over the finding of numerous notes at Khangabok Higher Secondary School which had the answers written in the same series as per the question paper of the English subject, he maintained that there is a high possibility of question leak in this particular exam centre.
Therefore he urged BOSEM and authorities concerned to carry out a thorough investigation on the matter and appealed to the officials of the exam centre to probe the same.
