Guru-mayum Gopalkrishna Sharma of Don Bosco High School, Imphal who shared the second place with Toijam Sanjina Devi of Little Flower School with a grand total of 474 marks shared his dream of becoming an IAS officer and hopes to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor.
Son of G Gajendra Sharma and G Ajita Devi of Lairikyengbam Makha Leikai, Lamlong, Gopalkrishna comes from an economically backward family.
His educational expenses, he stated are met by his mother who runs a street vendor at Lamlong bazar selling victuals.

Gopalkrishna went for private tuition for Maths, Social Sciences and Science, he stated.
He also expressed keen desire to rectify the existing education system of the State.
He further highlighted all the inconveniences and difficulties experienced by the students of the State on account of frequent bandhs and blockades.
