Clean India campaign held

Vision Lamka along with another non profit organisation, Nest joined the District Administration, ADC Churachandpur, 113 Bn BSF and NYK in jointly organising the Nation Wide Clean India Campaign on Tuesday.
NYK Churachandpur has been organising cleanliness drives since October 1 with various NGOs, volunteers and agencies.
The cleanliness drive taken up by Vision Lamka along with 113 BSF and others was part of the month-long drive.
The drive began by cleaning up the Bus station and winding up at Nute Bazar which was opened up to the public after months of closure due to Covid-19.Retired IFS officer, LT Ngaihte and the CMO Churachandpur, Dr VC Pau were designated as the coordinators from Vision Lamka (VL) side, and Benjamin Vualnam from their partner Agency NEST oversaw the cleaning drive.

Vision Lamka (VL) thanked all those who have turned up for the cleanliness drive and called one and all to play their part in realizing the vision, "Let's make LAMKA (Churachandpur) the best place in the world" .
Similarly, in continuation of the month-long Clean India campaign organised by District Administration Bishnupur and Nehru Yuva Kendra Bishnupur, a cleanliness programme was held at Nambol Keithel and surrounding areas.
The drive was carried out by the volunteers of local clubs and NYK with the assistance of Nambol Municipal Council and Nambol Police team.
Th Rabindra Singh, EO Nambol Municipal Council; Jackie Ruivah, Regional Director, NYKS North East Zone and Dr Salam Dhana Singh, Deputy Director, NYK Bishnupur also took part in the cleanliness drive.
