Many extend relief materials to shelter camps

Many continue to extend relief items to the people who have been displaced by the recent outburst of communal conflicts in the State.
Herbert School, Imphal, today distributed relief materials to the relief camp opened at Ibudhou Thangjing Campus in Moirang Assembly Constituency.
Representatives of the school led by principal, Dr Konjengbam Nabachandra visited the relief camp and provided various items including rice (10 bags), rajma dal/ kidney beans (50 Kg), masoor dal (25 Kg), potato (25 Kg), onion (10 Kg), garlic (10 Kg), edible oil (3 tins),, sugar (40 Kg), mosquito nets (91 piece) and track pants (300 piece) .
Dr Konjengbam Nabchandra also handed over a monetary aid of Rs 50,000 to help the people who have been taking shelter in camp due to the recent turmoil.
It may be mentioned that the camp has been functioning under the/ initiative of Ibudhou Thangjing Seva Mandal, Moirang and Phamnaiba Cheirap Loishang.
In continuation of the humanitarian aid provided to the people displaced by the recent conflict, members of Manipuri Chanura Leishem Marup (MACHA LEIMA), AMKIL, , NIMPAL, Khwairamband Keithel Semgat Sagat, Lup and Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup led by president of MACHA LEIMA, IV Amusana distributed relief items to various relief camps opened in the State on May 8, 9 and 10 .

shelter camps opened at Yambem High School Relief Camp, Yairipok; Yambem Primary Health Centre Relief Camp, Yairipok; Yambem MLA, Th Shyamkumar House Relief Camp; Nungaipokpi Community: Hall Relief Camp, Yairipok; Nungbrang Relief Camp, Yairipok; Kak Mayai Relief Camp, Yairipok; Torbung Mamang Leikai Relief Camp, Torbung; Kiyamba Shanglen Relief Camp, Bishnupur Bazar; Ima Chingjroibi Shanglen Relief Camp, Khurai Konsam Leikai; Khurai Angom Leikai Community Hall Relief Camp; Heingang High School Relief Camp, Heingang Makha Leikai; Tulsing High School Relief Camp, Sekmai; and Kadangband Community Hall Relief Camp.
Essential items including rice, dal, edible oil, potato, salt, bucket, mattress, soap, surf, toothpaste and clothes were provided to the relief camps during the drive.
Moreover, to help the people who have been displaced by the recent violence, South Imphal Swimming Association, Khagempali Nganappi Thong, Imphal today distributed relief materials to the relief.

The Sunday Market Association- based in, Khwairamband - Keithel, Imphal also distributed relief materials to the relief camps opened in Lamlai Assembly Constituency.
Lamlai AC MLA, Kh Ibomcha accorded a warm welcome to the members of the association and appealed to the people of Manipur to show proper restraint and come together to bring peace & harmony in the State,

Gram Panchayat member, Laishram Ongbi Boni and her family also extended relief materials to the people taking shelter at the relief camp opened in Ima Chingjroibi Shanglen, Khurai Konsam Leikai.
Patsoi Part-I Apunba Tengbang Lup, Imphal West, also distributed relief materials to the shelter camps opened at Khundrakpam Public School, Yumnam Khunou Lainingthou Puthiba, New Gold Club Taretkhul, Keibi, Lamlai Mayai Leikai, Awang Sekmai, Phumlou Keiroi Primary School and Koutruk Apunba Youth Club.
Keishamthong Nambulmapal Apunba Club in collaboration with Pishumthong Oinam Leikai Women Meira Paibi Welfare Association also provided relief materials to the relief camp opened at Khuman Lampak Youth Hostel on Thursday.
